FAQ

  Evacuated tube collectors
All glass evacuated tubes are the key component of solar collectors. The evacuated tube is similar to a conventional Dewar flask and consists of two borosilicate glass tubes with high performance of resisting chemical and thermal shocks.

The inner tube is coated with a sputtered solar selective material to ensure that sunlights are captured and converted into heat energy efficiently. This coated inner tube is closed at one end and sealed at the other end to the outer tube.

absorbers employ Nani molecule technology, plus state of art multi-layer film coating methodology, to ensure high heat conversion efficiency.

Evacuated tube collectors work in cold, cloudy or even rainy days!

The outer tube also has high strength to resist mechanical impacts equivalent to a 25 mm diameter hail. The annular space between the outer tube and inner tube is evacuated to virtually eliminate heat loss by conduction and convection.
